The National Documentation Wing has
developed a repository of primary source material on British rule in
India, Indian nationalism in general and Muslim political movements
in particular which is the largest repository indeed. As a result of
persistent and meticulous efforts of last three decades it has
become possible to build such a rich national repository of its kind
under one roof. This sizeable source material have been acquired
from various repositories abroad, local agencies and private
custodians.
